Montpelier Villa FC

Extremely hard to take this.
Good possession, battled hard, worked hard, well organised, didn't create much but definitely had the better chances.
Decisions not going our way today either, had 1 pen but should have had 2 more, plus 1 against.
Deserved more, but huge credit to the lads, cannot argue with the shift they put in.

Gutting. But plenty of positives to take into the next game and for the rest of the season... 6 debutants in the starting XI including 2 from the new youth team with another 2 on the bench.
They fit right in and were as good as anyone else on the pitch.
This club has a great future!!

‪Tough start to the season with a narrow loss at Westfield. Extremely hard to take this. Good possession, battled, organised, didn't create much but had the better chances. Decisions not going our way either.‬

Deserved more, but credit to the lads for their efforts. From what we’ve seen there’s no reason it can’t be a successful season.
Another day we win that game comfortably.
But always a tough place to go.

Some big positives. Particularly the two youth team players in the starting XI with another two on the bench. Plus another five making their debuts.

We move onto Angmering at Steyning FC on Friday night. Hoping for a similar performance but a bit more rub of the green. #UTV
