Despite having the best of the early exchanges Villa fell behind mid way through the first half, conceding a headed goal direct from a corner. This, rather unusually for the Visitors, seemed to unsettle them and so went on to concede both possession and territory as the half continued.

A brief reminder during the half time break on how we go about our business and an excellent response from the players who then went on to dominate the second period. A sublime "Kane-esque" turn and low drive that rattled the post from Liam Downes being a particular highlight. However it was not until the 83rd minute that the equaliser came. Again good strong work from Liam leading to Nick Boutal's 19th goal in all competitions.

Then, in stoppage time, the ball came in from the right eluding everyone and bounced up high for the unmarked Matt Harrison to attack. He met the ball well but wasn't quite able to get over it enough and his header come crashing back off the bar...if only he was a couple of inches taller!

A few not at their best today with the final ball and end product not as good as perhaps they could have been but fair play and credit to the Clymping defense who stood strong.
